Would YOU like to 'keep' bees?
Here then is your golden opportunity to find out if this 'hobby' is for you! Have you ever thought of keeping bees and harvesting your very own delicious honey? We can make that dream come true! Just think, you could even be harvesting honey from your very own hive this year!
Even if you already have bees, here is a 'golden' opportunity to join our Association, just think of the extra knowledge you will gain and the benefits you will receive.
2012 Classes: Beginners Classes started on Tuesday 24th January (7pm at the WEA Building, Orchard Street, Swansea.

Membership of the Association gives a host of benefits including Bee Disease Insurance as well as essential Third Party and Product Liability Insurance. |
You will receive a monthly update newsletter from our Secretary and you will also have access to our Bulk Buy products and 'boot' sales which are held from time to time, when you will have an opportunity to purchase second hand equipment.
Members meetings are regularly held at the WEA Building, Orchard Street, Swansea (just down the road from the Old Police Station) where you will have the opportunity to meet and Network with other beekeepers, both 'old' and new!
Tea/Coffee and biscuits are provided!
Outdoor Apiary meetings currently take place every Sunday morning at Penllergaer, Swansea where you can see and literally have 'hands on' experience, handling honeybees.
Even if you are not a member, please come along, meet us and take part in FREE live demonstrations. (Protective clothing provided . You can then decide for yourself whether this hobby is for you. Don't buy until you try!
