Our aim is to promote and sustain a healthy bee population in the West Glamorgan area

Old Road, Penllergaer, Swansea. SA4 9AQ

Please refer to the beekeepers calendar for dates

We hold beginners’ training sessions here from 10am to 12 Noon each and every Sunday, from Late April through to September weather permitting. For raw beginners, this is an opportunity to see inside a ‘working’ beehive. Full protective clothing is provided (free of charge). This is an ideal opportunity to ‘try out’ this exciting Hobby and discover if it’s for you. Experienced Beekeepers will always ‘bee’ present to guide and advise.

Travel up along the ‘Old’ Swansea Road, past the Old Inn. You will come to a locked Gate. Please wait until an Instructor arrives to gain access. You will be able to drive your vehicle all the way along the road to the entrance of the Apiary.

You don’t have to be a Member to take part – Please feel free to call by between 10am and 12 Noon, introduce yourself, don a protective suit and gloves and try it out, with absolutely no obligation to join our association!

At the Crest Recovery College (Previously called Cwmbwrla Day Centre) we hold the theory classes of the beginners course and regular members meetings, including guest speakers, practical courses and our honey show.

Please refer to the events calendar for dates of meetings
